Before you register
Terms and privacy
These terms apply to your registration for Europatreffen 2027, organised by Opel GT Club Nederland. What we do with your data is set out at the bottom.
1 · Your registration
One form per car: a registration is one car plus the people coming in it. If you come with two cars, you register twice.
Your registration is final once your payment has come in. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail. If the payment does not arrive, your reservation expires and the places are released for someone else; you will be told about that too. With iDEAL and Bancontact this happens if you do not complete the payment within 30 minutes. If you choose a bank transfer, we hold your places for 5 days; the exact moment is shown on your payment page.
We allocate the rooms. A twin room is for two people; in a multi-bed room you may share with other participants, but you will never share a bunk bed with a stranger. Once the allocation is final you receive your entry ticket with QR code and, if you sleep with us, your room number.
If you come in your own car but share the twin room with someone registering separately, you indicate at registration that your roommate is still to follow. If that registration does not arrive, we will contact you; we cannot keep a twin room free for one person indefinitely.
2 · Payment
Payment goes through our payment provider Mollie, by iDEAL, Bancontact or a SEPA bank transfer. You pay when you register; there is no invoice with a payment term in between.
If you choose a bank transfer, your place stays reserved for at least 5 days; the exact moment is on your payment page. If you pay later than that, transfer a different amount or leave out the reference, the payment provider automatically refunds the money to you. Your bank may charge for that; those costs are yours.
The statutory provisions for purchase and sale apply to all orders. As an association that is not liable for VAT we do not charge VAT: you receive an invoice without VAT, and reclaiming VAT is not possible.
3 · Cancellation
If you unexpectedly cannot come, please let us know as soon as possible. As a rule we do not refund: by that time the club has committed the places, the meals and the nights to the venue, and pays for them whether or not you are there.
In exceptional cases the organisation may depart from this. Get in touch with us and we will look at it together with you.
4 · On the grounds
The Opel GTs stand together on the grounds. If you come in another car, or without one, you park in the visitors' car park.
You drive the skill trials in your own Opel GT. Taking part in the event and in the trials, and driving on the grounds, are at your own risk. The organisation is not liable for damage to your car or your belongings, for theft, or for injury, except where this is due to intent or gross negligence on the part of the organisation.
You follow the instructions of the organisation and of the venue. Anyone who does not may be asked to leave the grounds; there is no refund in that case.
5 · The programme
We do our best to run the programme as announced. Parts of it may change or be dropped — because of the weather, the venue, or circumstances beyond our control. That does not give a right to a refund of the registration fee.
Should the event as a whole be unable to go ahead, the organisation will contact you about your registration.
6 · What we do with your data
We ask for your name, address, date of birth, telephone number and e-mail address so that we can process your registration, reach you, and recognise you on arrival. We use your car details for the layout on the grounds. What you enter under comments — a dietary requirement, for instance — we pass on to the venue so that they can take it into account.
Mollie processes your payment; we only see whether payment was made, by which method and when. Your account number and bank details do not enter our records, beyond what is visible on a bank transfer.
Apart from the venue and the payment provider we do not pass your data to anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
We keep the data from your registration for seven years. That is the period the tax authority prescribes for our records.
Photographs and recordings are made during the event. We use these for the club magazine, our website and our social media. By registering and attending the event you agree to this.
Would you like to know what data we hold about you, or have it corrected or deleted? Get in touch with us through the contact page. We will answer as quickly as we can.
7 · Finally
Do you have a question about these terms, or has something gone wrong? Get in touch — we would rather solve it together than leave you with a complaint.
These terms exist in Dutch, German and English. The German and English texts are translations; in the event of any difference, the Dutch text prevails.
