Registering and paying

How do I register?
Through the registration form on europatreffen.nl. Fill in one form per car. You will receive confirmation by e-mail.
I want to share a room with people I know. How do I arrange that?
When registering, enter the share code: the registration number (ET plus six characters) of the person you want to share with. The system will then room you together. Is your roommate registering later? Have them enter your number instead.
Do I pay extra if I am not a member of a Dachverband club?
Yes. The prices stated apply to members of an Opel GT club affiliated with the Dachverband. If you are not a member of an Opel GT club, or your club is not affiliated with the Dachverband, € 5,00 per adult is added. Children do not count towards it, and the surcharge does not apply to just coming to look. State your club on the registration form.
Is there a discount for children?

Yes, on the package. Children aged 2 to 12 pay less; how much depends on the package. Per child that comes to:

  • Full package, twin room: € 132,50 (2–8 years, 50% discount) · € 198,75 (9–12 years, 25% discount)
  • Full package, multi-bed room: € 90,00 (2–8 years, 60% discount) · € 157,50 (9–12 years, 30% discount)
  • The full weekend without accommodation: € 51,75 (2–8 years, 55% discount) · € 51,75 (9–12 years, 55% discount)
  • Saturday only: € 24,80 (2–8 years, 69% discount) · € 24,80 (9–12 years, 69% discount)
  • Sunday only: € 25,50 (2–8 years, 70% discount) · € 25,50 (9–12 years, 70% discount)
  • Just coming to look, per day: € 10,00 (2–8 years, no discount) · € 10,00 (9–12 years, no discount)

The discount applies to the package only: drink tokens, the event shirt and the GT on the grounds cost the same for everyone. Children do not count towards the surcharge without a club. Children under 2 have no rate — mention them in the remarks — and from 13 the full rate applies. Enter each child's age on the form; the cost is then calculated immediately.

What does it cost?
The full package is € 265,00 per person in a twin room or € 225,00 in a multi-bed room. The full weekend without accommodation costs € 115,00, one day € 80,00 (Saturday) or € 85,00 (Sunday), and just coming to look € 10,00 per day. All prices are per person; children up to 12 pay less. If you just come to look and want to bring your GT onto the grounds, € 10,00 per car per day is added.
How can I pay?
By iDEAL, Bancontact or bank transfer (SEPA). You choose the payment method on the form and pay straight away through Mollie; there is no invoice with a payment term in between. iDEAL is for customers of a Dutch bank, Bancontact for Belgium, and the bank transfer for all other countries — in practice mainly Germany and France. We do not offer credit card or PayPal.
How does paying by iDEAL or Bancontact work?
You are taken to your own bank and confirm the payment there. That takes a few seconds: your place is secured immediately and you receive a confirmation by e-mail straight away.
How does the bank transfer work?
After the form, Mollie sends you an e-mail with the account number and a payment reference; you must quote that reference with your transfer. A transfer usually takes one to three working days. Your place stays reserved for 5 days — you also see that date on the payment page. As soon as the money arrives you receive the confirmation. If it does not, the registration lapses and the beds become available to others.
I abandoned the payment. Is my place gone?
Not straight away. Your registration is ready and your place stays reserved for 30 minutes; from the payment page you can start the payment again. After that the registration lapses and the beds become available. If you still want to come, register again.
When do I get my ticket?
The confirmation of your payment arrives by e-mail immediately. The ticket itself — a QR code for the gate — follows in a separate e-mail as soon as the room assignment is final, including your room number if you are staying with us. Keep that e-mail on your phone or print it out.

The packages

What is included in the full package?
Two nights at ‘Kasteel de Berckt’, breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning, participation in the full programme, the BBQ on Saturday, and dinner followed by the party evening on Sunday.
I arrange my own accommodation. Can I still take part?
Yes. For € 115,00 per person you take part in the full weekend, including the BBQ, dinner and party evening. You arrange your own accommodation.
Can I come for one day?
Yes. Saturday costs € 80,00 per person, Sunday € 85,00. That day you take part in the programme and the parts fair.
Can I just come to look?
You can, for € 10,00 per person per day; when registering you choose one day or both. Want to bring your GT onto the grounds? That costs € 10,00 per car per day — otherwise the car stays in the car park. Please register in advance, even if you just come to look: then we know how many cars to expect and can arrange the parking accordingly. You do not take part in our programme, but you are a welcome guest on the grounds and at the parts fair.
Is breakfast included with every package?
No. Breakfast on Sunday and Monday morning belongs only to the full package. Coffee and tea are included with every option, throughout the whole period.

Rooms at de Berckt

What rooms are there?
‘Kasteel de Berckt’ has over 200 beds across 63 rooms: from twin to eight-person rooms. The full breakdown is on the De Berckt page.
Is ‘Kasteel de Berckt’ a hotel?
No, a group accommodation — and you will notice. Bed linen is included, but you bring your own towels. The rooms have single beds and bunk beds, no double beds, and a multi-bed room is shared with other participants.
Do I need to bring towels?
Yes. Towels are not included, not even for the shower. Bed linen is.
Can I state a preference?
Yes. With a full package you state your preference on the form for a twin room or a multi-bed room.
I am coming alone. Can I book a twin room?
Only if you share it with someone. There are no single rooms, and holding a room for two for one person is not possible — there are too few of them. Are you sharing it with someone who registers separately? Then you can: enter their registration number, or tick that they are still to follow. If you really are coming alone, choose the multi-bed room, where we place you with other participants.
We are coming in two cars but want to share one room. Is that possible?
Yes. You each register separately — you have to, because the entry ticket, the bag and the vehicle registration are per car — and you both choose the twin room. Whoever registers first ticks that their roommate is registering separately; that roommate then enters the first registration number on their own form. We will place you in the same room, and you each simply pay the twin room rate. If that roommate does not register, we will contact you to find a solution together; you will hear from us in advance.
And if no twin room is available?
That option can then no longer be selected on the form and you choose the multi-bed room. It costs € 40,00 per person less, so you pay the right amount straight away.
I want to share a room with people I know. How do I arrange that?
When registering, enter the share code: the registration number (ET plus six characters) of the person you want to share with. The system will then room you together. Is your roommate registering later? Have them enter your number instead.

The programme

When is the Treffen?
On 15 and 16 May 2027, at and around ‘Kasteel de Berckt’ near Baarlo. Guests with a full package depart on Monday morning 17 May from 09:30.
What is the theme of the party evening?
‘Zo Hollands mogelijk’. The party evening is on Sunday, after dinner, and runs until 01:00.
What are the skill trials?
They are part of Sunday afternoon's tour; there are four at most. The prize-giving is on Sunday evening around 22:30, along with various games.
Can I get a table at the parts fair?
The parts and technical items fair runs all day on Saturday and Sunday. Would you like a table of your own? Mention it in the comments on the registration form.
Can the programme still change?
Yes. The programme is subject to change. We announce any changes on this site.

Practical

Which cars is this Treffen for?
For the classic Opel GT, built between 1968 and 1973. On the registration form you enter the type, build year and registration of your car.
How do consumption tokens work?
A token costs € 3,00 and is good for one drink. Tokens are for drinks only: the snack cart on the grounds does not take them, you pay there separately. You may order them in advance when registering; they are settled together with the registration. Any surplus tokens will be refunded to you.
Is there an event shirt?
Yes. Order as many as you like when you register, € 17,50 each. It is a Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 in sizes XXS to 5XL; you choose a size for each shirt. Colour and design stay secret until the event — the fit and the size chart are on the manufacturer's site, at stanleystella.com/nl-nl/creator-2-0-sttu169.
Can I order a shirt at the event itself?
Better to order when you register: we print what has been ordered. On site there will be a few left at most, and not in every size.
Where can I find information about the accommodation itself?
On the group accommodation website: denieuweklasse.nl/kasteel-de-berckt. You do not reserve there, but through our registration form.
Who organises the Treffen?
Opel GT Club Nederland. Organisation, registration and reservation all go through the club.
€ 5,00 Surcharge without a club
€ 40,00 Difference with the multi-bed room
